took place XXIV Annual International Conference Black Sea Grain and Oilseeds 2018/19 in the hotel Azimut Moscow Olympic.

The event was visited by more than 250 representatives from 20 countries including Russia, the US, Italy, the Great Britain, France, Switzerland, the UAE, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg, Poland, Finland.

JSC Schelkovo Agrokhim has become the Official Sponsor of the conference; Myskhako has become the Official Wine Partner of the event.

In the framework of this conference many topics were discussed such as problems of legislative support and state regulations of the Russian grain market, the development of new trends on the world’s grain and oilseeds markets, the grain quality this season and etc.

The first session began with the presentation Forecast of Russias Economic Development for 2018-2021 made by Andrei Klepach, Chief Economist and Deputy Chairman of the Board in Vnesheconombank. Anatoly Kutsenko, Director of the Agribusiness Market Regulation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, expressed in details his opinion on such issues as market regulation, possible imposition of duties, conducting interventions, etc.

Upon the conclusion of the first session Arkady Zlochevskiy, President of the Russian Grain Union, shared his point of view.

Dmitry Rylko, General Director of IKAR, moderated the second session.

This session Russia and the Black Sea Region: Harvest Elimination – Increasing Competition was marked with the presentation made by Dan Basse, President of American Analytic Company AgResource. The report of this analyst caused a real stir!

The session continued with speeches of representatives from Kazakhstan (Viktor Aslanov, Director General of the News Agency Cereals and Oilseeds), Ukraine (Sergey Feofilov, Director General of the UkrAgroConsult ) and the Islamic Republic of Iran (Kaveh Zargaran, Board Member of Iranian Federation of Food Associations).

Alexander Korbut, Vice-President if the Russian Grain Union, traditionally acted as moderator of the panel discussion with the experts of grain and oilseeds markets.

In the beginning of this discussion Irina Sarycheva, Customer Care and Technical Governance Manager in the Agri-Food Sector, told about the grain quality of the 2018 harvest in Russia.

The session continued with the reports of recognized experts of the Russian market. Dmitry Rylko, Director General of IKAR, made some forecasts, evaluations and recommendations, also he touched upon the issues of producing and export records and the main market problems. The discussion kept on with the speech of Vladimir Petrichenko, Director General of ProZerno

The report of Arcady Zlochevsky, President of the Russian Grain Union, concluded this event.

The XXIV Annual International Conference Black Sea Grain and Oilseeds 2018/19 culminated in the 6th Grain Dinner where the excellent wine collection from the Official Wine Partner Myskhako was presented.
