there was held the XXIII International Grain Round "Grain Market - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" in Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Region

In the framework of the XXIII International Grain Round the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation - Director General of the Marine Directorate - Sergey Yakushev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation - Crimean-Syrian trading house "Sodruzhestvo" - Avstriysky Sergey, as well as a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar Territory - Head of the Export Department Anna Lysykh took part.

More than 700 representatives from 12 countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, France, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and other countries took part in the Round.

Due to the restrictions at the Russian airports, the Round was held in a hybrid format, as some of the speakers could not reach the place.

Traditionally, the International Grain Round "Grain Market - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" began its work with a solemn greeting of the President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky.

The round continued with a speech of the vice-president of the Russian Grain Union – Alexander Korbut who announced the speakers of the I session" The agricultural sector under sanctions - new risks and problems, new opportunities".

The session was attended by:
Georgy Muradov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation

Alireza Jafari, Representative of the Russian Grain Union in Iran, President of the Organizing Committee of the International Specialized Exhibition Eurasia, who could not come and participated online

This conference part was immediately followed by a mini-session "Digitalization in the agro-industrial complex" in which Alexey Shveitsov, First Deputy General Director, Rostselmash and Konstantin Zvenigorodsky, Commercial Director, Port Transit took part.

After a short break started the second session “Agrlogistics: Embroidering Grain Dead Ends, Trends and Market Opportunities”.

The first day of the International Grain Round followed with business negotiations and prolific meetings.

The next day of the XXIII International Grain Round began with the session Seed and oil who is squeezing whom? The state of the industry and development prospects, where there were covered such important topics as:

  • Export potential of the oil and fat industry in the 2021/22 season.
  • Global oilseed market - global trends in major crops.
  • Ahead of trends - the rapeseed market as a promising type of trade.
  • Market conditions for oilseeds and vegetable oils in 2021/22.
  • Soybean market in Russia - new gold: development forecasts.

The XXIII International Grain Round culminated with the luxurious gala dinner in the style of the Great Gatsby and traditional sponsor awards. The participants with a great pleasure followed the party’s theme. Dazzling gowns and extraordinary hats, tuxedoes formed the very look of that roaring time.

The Lime Band was in charge of the music and the atmosphere of this noisy and glaring evening.

The music couldnt make the guests sit still as well as the dancers of the show-ballet FIESTA that guaranteed the successful termination of the evening
