III International Conference «Grain Russia 2009»

In the Conference work took part more than 180 representatives from 12 countries worldwide including USA, Jordan, Palestine, Germany, France, Nigeria, Turkey, Great Britain, Spain, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

The General sponsorship was provided by Schyolkovo Agrokhim, sponsorship – by Buhler, ASADOV CAPITAL.

The first session «Features of the world grain market and the Black Sea grain market in 2009/10 and their development forecast in the second half of the season» was moderated by Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar territory Evgeny Gromyko. Among Conference speakers there were Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Korolev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Andrey Klepach, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia Andrey Tsyganov, General Director of Berkut Viktor Pokotilov, General Director of Schyolkovo Agrokhim Salis Karakotov, Chairman of Rigas ostas elevators Eri Esta, Analyst from F.O. Licht (Germany) Keith Flury, Head of Agriculture production department of Inspectorate R Vitaly Smirnov, representatives of KWS LOCHOW GMBH (Germany), Rosselkhozbank and others.

The main topics of the working sessions covered production forecasts, grain consumption and export during the second half of 2009/10, grain market conditions and export potential, benefits and risks of «Black Sea Grain Basin», etc.
