The Round was visited by more than 200 representatives from 13 countries worldwide including Russia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Great Britain, USA, Egypt, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine.

In the frameworks of the Round problems of legislative securing and state regulation of grain market, production prognosis, price dynamics and grain market situation were discussed, as well as the use of new production technologies, grain proceeding and storing, transport and financial infrastructure development. Special attention was paid to competitiveness potential of grain industry and main directions of technological modernization as well as to credit problems, new instruments of commodity financing and grain business insurance.
Separate session was devoted to the improvement of system and mechanisms of state regulation and agriculture support in the Russian Federation. In the discussion took part high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Federal Tariff Service of Russia, Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia. In particular there were Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Korolev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Andrey Klepach, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar territory Evgeny Gromyko, Deputy General Director of the International Grain Company Nikolay Demianov, General Director ofSchyolkovo Agrokhim Salis Karakotov, General Director of Grana Valery Gachman and others.
During eleven years the Grain Round has become a momentous event for the entire grain industry of Russia and key players of the world market. Representative composition of participants made it a platform of opinions exchange for fruitful cooperation, setting of business contacts and developing approaches to solving basic problems of the grain market.
