I International Agro-technological Conference

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

At the Conference there were 172 representatives from 11 countries including Russia (26 regions), Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Belarus, Libya, Kongo and Poland. 
The Conference was visited by Deputy Governor of Krasnodar territory Evgeny Gromyko.
In the frameworks of planned mountain skiing at “Gazprom” skiing centre an informal meeting between the Conference organizers and participants and the Head of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin has been held.
The Conference speakers’ presentations are located in the participants’ Member area, “Documents”.
In the frameworks of the Conference current issues of technological modernization in agricultural sphere were discussed as well as application prospects of innovative technologies in cereals, oilseeds and sugar beet production, agriculture products processing and storage, ways of problems solutions in finance and investment attraction sphere for technological reequipment and increase in plant growing competitiveness.

The Conference was opened by the President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevskiy with his presentation on the topic “Technological modernization and profitability of agribusiness”.

The first session “State and agricultural sector: trends, scales and role in providing technological modernization” started with a detailed report concerning cereals crops planning technologies in moisture lack conditions made by General organizational partner of the Conference, General Director of CJSC “Schyolkovo Agrochim” Salis Karakotov.

Particular interest caused the report of Martin Doebler, the representative of “Deutsch-Russischer Agrarpolitischer Dialog”, covering the problem of plants protection with the help of modern biotechnologies.

The problem of technological modernization mechanisms use in grain market sphere and the role of CJSC “Rusagrotrans” in this matter was covered by the First Deputy Director General on strategic development and corporate communications of “Rusagrotrans” Oleg Rogachev.

In the upshot of the first session there was a panel discussion where Director of the Grain Union of Rostov region Yury Parshukov directed a question to Arkady Zlochevskiy concerning grain market situation both in the region and in the whole country.

Session II «Technological modernization, innovations and competitiveness of production» was of great interest among the Conference participants where a number of prognoses, estimates and recommendations were presented by the Vice-President of the Russian Grain Union Alexander Korbut, Minister of Agriculture of Ulianovsk region Alexander Chepukhin, General Director of CJSC “Agroanaliz” Vadim Dudka, General Director of CJSC “Eurotechnica” Lyudmila Orlova. Head of Agrarian insurance management of OJSIC “Ingosstrakh” Delyara Sangadzhieva represented a new draft law in the sphere of agrarian insurance. Particular interest was caused by the report of Director on Marketing and Advertising of “KAMAZ” Group Ashot Arutyunyan where he represented the company’s offers for agroindustrial complex. In the frameworks of the session there were reports of Director of “BIOIN-NOVO” Tatiana Nugmanova, General Director of Biocentre “Stavropolie” Alexander Kharchenko and President of “Zauralie” Association Anatoly Nikitasenko.

The third Conference session «Technological modernization – how to get maximum revenue» was opened by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Korolev. In his report that caused interest among the Conference participants Mr Korolev reflected state support in agriculture production modernization. In the discussion took part Minister of Agriculture of Penza region Vladimir Volkov, Minister of Agriculture of Ulianovsk region Alexander Chepukhin and President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevskiy.

The Conference IV session «New storage technologies for grain and oilseeds crops – how to reduce losses and increase revenue?» was opened by Regional Manager of “Buhler AG” Adrian Spahr (Switzerland).

In the frameworks of the session there was an active discussion with the participation of “Kemin Agrifoods” (Belgium) that was represented by Product manager Olga Averkieva, General Director of “Lumex-Centrum” Sergey Molchan and General Director of “Liliani” Armen Nalbandyan.

In the Round table «Biotechnologies in agricultural sector – new risks and new opportunities» participated Head of Corporate Development and Communication of “KWS SAAT AG” Dr. Henning von der Ohe, Minister of Agriculture of Penza region Vladimir Volkov and Regional Manager of “Buhler AG” Adrian Spahr (Switzerland).
