The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation With a support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

In the work of the III International Agro-technological Conference «AgroHighTech – XXI», held by the Russian Grain Union together with Schyolkovo Agrochim and Soyuzrossakhar, with a support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Administration of Voronezh Region and public organization Delovaya Rossiya on March 4-6, 2014 in Voronezh (Russia) took part more than 170 representatives from 10 countries.

General partnership of the conference was provided by Schyolkovo Agrochim, general sponsorship by Uralkali, sponsorship by Agroindustrial Corporation AST Company M, KWS RUS.

Within the conference agenda such issues as use of modern technology in crop production, main directions of technological modernization and introduction of innovations in the process of agricultural production were discussed.

March 4, 2014

The first day of the conference started with the welcoming cocktail organized by the conference partners Kuban Vino and Shato Taman where splendid vines were presented.

March 5, 2014

The second day of the conference started with the grand opening of the event by the organizer President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevskiy and the Deputy Prime Minister of Voronezh Region, Head of the Agrarian Policy Department Anatoly Spivakov. In his speech the Mr Spivakov greeted the conference participants and presented the results of pro-active policies to support agriculture in the region, plans for the future and the state of the agricultural sector in the area!

First session was continued by the plenary session covering the topic State and agricultural sector: results of the first year of the Governmental Program for Agriculture Development, expectations and realities of state support in 2014, where together with A.Spivakov and A.Zlochevskiy took part General partner of the Conference, General Director of Schyolkovo Agrochim Salis Karakotov.

The session was moderated by the Vice-President of the Russian Grain Union Alexander Korbut.

Second conference session was dedicated to the problems of technological modernization, innovations and competitiveness of production. The session was opened by General Director of Schyolkovo Agrochim Salis Karakotov. In his report Mr Karakotov told about cost optimization in plant breeding in Central Black Soil Region using chemicals. The session was continued by General Director of Krasnoyaruzhskaya Grain Company Alexander Titovskiy and Head of D. Pryanishnikov Laboratory Vladimir Romanenkov.

Second conference day was continued by third session Technological modernization how to get maximum revenue. The topic was fully covered in the report by Manager for project Rye for feeding Jacob Winther Nymand. The session was continued by Manager on Maize and Sunflower, German Seed Alliance Andrey Cherepanov. In his report he told about new technological solutions and their economic efficiency.

Head of Plant Protection and Ecotoxicology Department of Orel State Agrarian University Nikolay Lysenko made a report n balance management Productivity protection technology grain cost.

Forth conference session covered the topic How to protect personal rights in land relations, obtaining grants, insurance reimbursement lead by Olga Romanova, Managing Partner of Ratum Law Group.

The second conference day was finished by gala-dinner where in glorious atmosphere the conference sponsors were awarded by certificates.

March 6, 2014

The third conference day was continued by experts’ round table Grain market in the new season what to expect and what to sow? opened by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Andrey Volkov. The baton was picked up by General Director of ProZerno Vladimir Petrichenko who told about grain turns in 2013-2014 and prospects for 2014-2015.

III International Agro-technological Conference AgroHighTech XXI finished by enthralling trip to Betagran Ramon plant guided by the owner of the plant, General Director of Schyolkovo Agrochim Salis Karakotov. He told the participants about all the nuances of sugar-coated seeds production, showed the possibilities of new equipment and created a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere!
